Hey everyone,

So finally after filing for all the papers 8 months later I got a request for more evidence paper back which only requested a passport sized photo for me and my fiancee.

This was beginning of April that I sent back within the week.  I've been told that RFE's can usually set back the process another 2 to 3 months before getting an approval decision.

I just wanted to check with you guys to confirm if this is usually the case.  Has anyone had to deal with RFE's ? and how much longer did you have to wait until the decision or

another response came back?

Just curious because We both are trying to be patient because this year we've made plans and moving arrangements and such.

Thanks

It will all depends  on how sufficient   your evidence you submitted are that I think will determine the time.

Sometimes more evidence are requested in addition, but mostly four weeks estimate if your evidence is  sufficient to hear for a decisions taking on your case .

Wishing you good luck .
