ok i got a question. Still gathering things for our AOS interview, and was wondering about the apartment rental lease from when we moved in. We moved in together before we were married and were given the lease agreement, but we both forgot to sign it. I got our landlord to fill us out a new lease agreement so it would have my name on it, now do i sign it in my married name or maiden name as the landlord signed it then dated it the date we moved in, which was before we were married.

4/01/08 mailed I-751 to Nebraska

4/3/08 package arrives at Nebraska

4/11/08 check cashed

4/14/08 recieved NOA extension letter

4/26/08 recieved biometrics appointment letter plus it looks like our case has been forwarded to California!

5/02/08 Biometrics scheduled

5/02/08 Biometrics completed in 10 mins!

Woo Hoo....8/28/08 Recieved 10yr Greencard in mail, no approved email!! We are done!!!

I signed our lease under my maiden name (even though we were already married) because it was before we applied for my AOS and before I had any other documents or SSN under my married name. It wasn't a problem, though. I will sign next lease under my married name, of course.

27 February 2013 - Biometrics appointment (Detroit, MI).
01 April 2013 - NOA 2: Interview assigned.

15 May 2013 - Naturalization Interview, approved after 15 minutes.

10 June 2013 - Naturalized.
