hmmm wonder what this will mean for the French people!!!!!

They have a new President?

Sarkozy, has promised to bring unemployment down from 8.3% to 5% - if he can manage that, then he should be the President of France.

Well he is not an immigrant, just the son of, so more appropriate would be to say that it is the first generation that hates?

I'm an immigrant....and don't hate other immigrants.

French 'youth' are at it again.

Sarkozy win sparks riots

06/05/2007 22:47 - (SA)

Paris - Riot police fired tear gas on Sunday as stone-throwing protestors gathered in central Paris to demonstrate against the presidential election victory of rightwinger Nicolas Sarkozy, an AFP journalist said.

The clashes took place on the Place de la Bastille where about 2 000 supporters of the defeated Socialist candidate Segolene Royal had gone to await the election results.

Supporters of the right wing president elect held their own giant celebratory party in another part of central Paris. Sarkozy beat Royal by 53% of the vote to 47%, according to projections.
