Medical Exam - Are Doctors nice or rude and judgemental

Hello VJ Community in INDIA!

 

I am curious to know feedback from those folks who have gone through the K1 medical exam just before the interview. I have read a lot about the Medical Exam in UK, but I wanted to get feedback from people in India on how their experience was during the medical exam.

 

- Were the doctor(s) and staff polite and professional?

- Were they judgmental and rude?

- Did any issues come up in the Medical part of the process for you?

- Has anyone dealt with a history of depression that you need to report on the questionnaire, did the doctors ask about it, was it an issue?

My fiance said everyone that he encountered was nice. He had a female doctor that did his assessment, no issues since he doesn't have any previous medical history. They did his chest x-ray, collected blood and urine sample, vision test and the nurse gave him the 4 vaccines he needed. He said that the doctor asked about any history of depression or self harm, which he didn't have any history of. His medical was completed in Chennai.

My fiance had his medical for the K1 exam in early March at the Max in Delhi. He didn't have any problems, and I think he said the lady doctor he got was nice. He had no issues with Medical, nor any items he needed to report on the questionnaire.

 

No matter what, be 100% honest about everything.
