Hello all,

I am in the I485 process.

We filed in 2017-04-01 had a RFE in 2017-05-01

And finally they sent us an interview appointment for 2018-05-17!  We received the mail at the end of April!

So far so good, right?

Today we received another letter from the USCIS Office in Montgomery, where it says our interview appointment is on 2018-06-11 ?!

But it seems to be very odd, because the letter is not an official Form 797C Notice of Action, it is just a plain piece of paper. And it does not tell me the casenumber!

And there is no phone number to call the Field Office in Montgomery.

The other thing what I noticed: When I check my case online, it gives me a validation error. We already called the USCIS and they say it is an error in their system and other people are also effected by that.

I coudn't find something similar who has the same problem..

Do I have to attend to both interviews?

Hey neighbor!!!

Have you checked your case status with the new site? https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

I did for mine and is has way more info than the old one. Just had to create a new account and then added all my case #''s.

Thank you, I did!

And it is more confusing now..

They were trying to schedule an appointment since December last year? And it says they canceled my interview...

Sounds like they cancelled the May 17 and rescheduled for June. I haven’t gotten a cancellation notice and I hope I don’t because mine is scheduled for the 15th. I suggest call back and ask for level two officer. Customer service can’t give you information that officers have access to.
