Today we finally received another upload on I-130 case:

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status:

On March 21, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 990 and 999 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

How long it might take now to be completed? Could it take a week only? Will they send us the NOA2 or the final decision is gonna appear on the web site too?

They received our response on March 10th and we are still waiting. Hope that both of us receive an NOA2 soon.

Good to hear Maria as it would ease your mind :thumbs: From previous posts many get the approval within a couple of weeks....but as you well know that is never a guarantee.

They have finally said something....I think everything is fine, but you can never tell, especially when it comes to Immigration issues. Maybe its a common thing a RFE for the I-130 since a lot of people get it!!!! But we have already promised ourselves....we are going to send the original marriage certificate with the I-485!!!! But what happens after the I-130 is approved? Is it a very important document?

ok...now i am confused...you have the visa that came through the i - 129 process.

why are you continuing with the i 130...

just when i thought i had this figured out.

I'm not continuing with the I-130 (I have never even said that) and as a matter of fact, I already got my K3 Visa....but, I figured that in order to get the Green Card the I-130 must be approved. Am I wrong?
