Anyone waiting for interview at Kabul Afghanistan?

It's been a long process and finally we are in the waiting for interview phase...I want to know if there's anyone else waiting for interview or has gone through the visa interview at Kabul, Afghanistan.

how long did the nvc process took. My case was sent to NVC fom USCIS about a month ago.

The process was rather quickly...would have been sooner but unfortunately there was some issues with our lawyer.

 

I 130 approved- Jan 12 2018

Received at NVC- Jan 15, 2018

Case number received- March 15 2018

Case closed May 3 2018

Medical appointment June 10

Interview date June 23

 

Issues at the lawyer is why there's a big gap from case number to case closed.

My fiancé had his interview in Kabul in April 2018 and we are still in administrative processing after 8 months. Did you get your visa? Any advice ?

No visa issued yet. We are still in Administrative Processing. I really don’t have any advice but to keep waiting and patience. 

I was told that usually administrative processing will be concluded by 6 months or 6 months and a half. But we hit the 6 month mark on Monday and still nothing. No update either. How’s your case? Visa issued?

Nope no visa issued and no update from the embassy either. Still in administrative processing unfortunately.

I wonder if AP time is the same for fiancé visa and I 130 visa.... it sucks that they can keep family apart for this long waiting in Limbo .

 

My husband was told that if they keep your passport it should take at least 6 months... and he’s still on AP (it’s been 6 months now)

Salam. My husband is also in AP for 4 months now with no updates. Have you guys gotten any visas or updates whatsoever? They have kept his passport since the interview but no word 😕

I’m so sorry for the late reply. We waited about 1 month I believe. I remember it wasn’t long
