I emailed the embassy in Singapore. They got back in a few hours. I guess each embassy operates differently. I was told that while I certainly could reschedule the interview, they will only get back to my case after they have scheduled all others, which means my new interview date will be at least 3 weeks later, or months later. I decided to pay all the penalties and cancel a trip I had planned before I got the interview date!

You have to call embassy to reschedule interview once it shows READY on CEAC Website...

And what @deafguy72 said ^^^^ Just let them issue you a 221g which will request to bring medicals in...Please don't do a "a no show."

Hi. Thank you for all your help. I just got an email from the embassy that I just need to reschedule my appointment. Since my reason is valid, I just have to let the CO know about that. Furthermore, I called the USEM again and explained my situation, since I already resheceduled, my May 15 schedule was automatically cancelled :)

How soon do you have to reschedule? Like can you do it after a month or two or it has to be done within days ?

I decided to confirm with SLEC as yo when my psych eval results will be available and was informed in 2-3 days. When I got that confirmation, I rescheduled mine right away, meaning even before my psych eval.

Actually, just had my psych eval yesterday morning and my results will be available today :)

I am trying to reschedule but there isn't any date for next 2 years even. Probably it's a bug. Should I email the embassy

Yes. The wait shouldn’t be that long. Call them directly so they can help you with scheduling :)

Generally speaking you can only reschedule a CR1/IR1 after no showing the interview.  If your medical results may not be ready that is not a reason to no show.  You can send them after the fact (reschedule the medical first if you can!)

USEM is different than most because they have DCF. So scheduling with them is a different story than other countries unless DCF is also provided there.

Okay, so an update here. Embassy asked me to contact US visa info website folks so I reached out to them but they said they don 't control scheduling and it's up the embassy to release the slots and at the moment, there are none. So I've to constantly keep on checking on regular basis. This seems very inefficient way.

Have you tried singing up for ustraveldoc website? Cause that’s how I scheduled mine. In the website it shows you the earliest schedule that they have.

You don't seem to understand that things work differently for Montreal than they do for Manila.  Manila advice doesn't work for Montreal.
