Would you keep working if you won millions of dollars in the lottery?

If my husband and I won millions in a lottery, we would both not keep working. We probably wouldn't give any notice either. We would, however, call and tell our employers that we wouldn't be back.

What would you do?

I'd give notice because, at least in my current situation, I'd be f*cking over friends if I didn't.

like working with animals. but, I would save the money and live off the intrest.

Wouldn't work but might do some charity stuff. I'd definitely give my 2 weeks' notice though, it'd be rude to just leave IMO.

We would work or I would go crazy!! We would probably move back to JA and not tell anyone we won money.

We would both quit working and travel, do volunteer work and relax. We're both in supervisory positions so we will give notice (probably more than 2 weeks).

i would quit instantly, no notice. but i'd call and say goodbye! my type of job (private chef) would be fine not giving notice... oh no, they'd have to cook for themselves or order in for a few weeks! *gasp! lol

i'd invest the money first so it gained interest, etc, and i'd travel and figure out what i wanted to do while traveling. a LOT of thinking would be done! i'm sure my future would involve real estate, volunteering, and lots of travel! not sure if i ever would "work" again. who knows?!

I'd then go ahead and consult from time to time.
