Saw a couple of location specific threads popping up so figured I'd start one for Philly.

Who's still awaiting their AOS interview after filing in 2017?

Hi,

i'm not a Philadelphia  filer but same year 2017. i'm too waiting on my interview i haven't heard anything from USCIS after July,2017.

It seems like most of applicant who applied in end of 2017 & 2018 are getting interviews and PR even without EAD. Processing time field office i applied shows Sept, 2016.

Yeah you’re in the same boat as me. You’re right that January 2018 filers are getting through super quick. I’m not sure what the answer is to be honest, I’ve tried everything - infopass, tier 2, ombudsman and senators to try and get some answers but you just get ‘standard processing times’ thrown at you.

its frustrating because the processing times have been elongated massively lately and now USCIS can hide behind ‘standard processing times says 9 - 20 months’. Very annoying.

Yeah that's how I feel too. Wish them all well, but it sucks that it seems like we've been brushed over.

Yep called a tier 2. The problem is that as long as we're within the standard processing times as posted on the website, we'll never get anywhere because they can hide behind it.

I suspect the people who got an interview scheduled after talking to a tier 2, it was a co-incidence. Tier 2's can't schedule interviews, they can just view a more comprehensive report of where your case is at.

well that's what even my lawyer said cannot contact anyone right now bcoz of processing time is their shield for now. so all we can do is wait hopefully sooner or later something will update also USCIS has not updated processing time yet for this month the 15th As they always update every month the 15th
