May I know if I can be with my wife to St. Luke for her medical exam to assist? She is hearing impaired so I am too but I can write back and forth with questions from the doctor because my wife can only read basic words. Deaf education is very poor in this country. I would assume for you guys to suggest an female interpreter probably. Am I right?

My first reaction is I would think SLEC would accommodate you. With you being deaf also how would you communicate with the doctor or nurse?   The doctor could just as easily write notes to your wife, in English or Tagalog.   Next thought is, there is a daughter .. how does she communicate with mom?

Do keep us posted.

My stepdaughter needs to babysit my boys ha ha. Yes, my wife can answer very basic words or with gesture except if something comes up with psychology test then I have to be there to assist with severe questions from the doctor

The step-daughter needs to complete the medical also ..   yes?     Step-daughter would need mom or a legal guardian there for her medical if she is a minor.

Maybe you stay home & babysit?     I understand your protective instincts ... just saying.

She is 19 and will do medical other time because I reconsidered to have my wife approval first then do stepdaughter the separate days. My wife always depend on me for anything

You can try and request to be allowed inside St.Lukes. I saw a couple where the US citizen was allowed inside.  I had my medical last april 8, 2018. Just so you know this was a recent incident and that you can try. I guess it helps that the USc was kind, respectful and very courteous.
