Hi! I've been away for some time with the new baby, going back to work and getting things ready for our move to Washington DC in about a month. I've kept in touch with a few of you but am just stopping in to say hi. I'll try to come around occassionally to offer any input I can regarding the whole process. We're working on getting Youssef's mom a visa to come visit us but with the Consul in Casa being closed (don't think it's open yet...) we're sort of on hold. Looks like there has been some good news and I'm very glad to see that. Jen? Sarah? Noura? Henia? How have you all been?? I know there's way more out there that I've gotten to know but I seriously feel like I operate on about half a brain these days lol - they say babies suck your brains out and I'm starting to believe it! Hope all are welll, and I look forward to hearing from you!!

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

According to my friends, the babies eventually give you your brains back once they start sleeping through the night. Then they start teething and take them away again. ;)
