Technically, I think you can use the I-864EZ but to be safe, use the I-864.  Your income is sufficient, so leave the asset sections blank.  You are not required to have income for 2016.  You are required to enter a number from a tax return for 2016 or give justification for why you were not required to file.  If your current income is steady, sufficient, from a source in the USA for more than six months on the job, then I don't see ANY reason to have a joint sponsor.

Stop focusing on the W2.  You qualify if your income is from "employment" in the USA.  The W2 is just something people employed in the US get at the end of the year.  W2 income is the same as employee income.  It's just a different way of saying it.  You don't even have to send a W2 form at all, if you use a Tax Return Transcript from IRS for 2017.  Only the 2017 return is required.  You send a 2017 W2 only as part of a COMPLETE copy of your 2017 tax return.  Complete copy....OR...Tax Return transcript.  Interpret "OR" literally.

Often folks are bothered by things they shouldn't be and not bothered by things they should be.  If your current AND 2017 income are sufficient, you do not need to obligate a "joint sponsor".  Have you read the contract portion of the affidavit?

Not sure of your meaning here, but you enter information from three tax returns or you indicate the reason why you did not file.  If the reason, is that your income was below the filing threshold, simply hand write in the available space.  "Income below filing threshold".  Provide the total income number from the 1040 or adjusted gross from the 1040EZ for any year you DID file.

That has nothing to do with your current income.  Current income is the gross from a pay period times the number of pay periods in a year.  Paid every two weeks is 26 pay periods etc.

Yes I have those ready, just need to decide which form to use i-864ez or with co-sponsor.honestly speaking, presently I see myself meeting the requirements of ez just bit bothered and confused with the taxes if it will affect. Now, I kind of understand, meaning to say even if 2016 no file or below threshold it will not affect the qualification, right?  Became reluctant if it will affect or labeled not good enough to support......

Thank you basically as what i have understood the relevant is the most recent year or the present year.

I repeat.  Just use the I-864.  Then you have nothing to worry about.  The prior tax return information required is the same on both forms.  Skip the asset questions.  Just leave them blank.  Interpret the word "optional" LITERALLY.

There are no "cosponsors".  What you don't need is a "joint sponsor".
