I read that you did that so I sent packet 3 again today! lol Haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed!

I'm just taking everything that applies to me from the list that's provided in Packet 3 and Packet 4.   These can be found online but I've confirmed that they are still the same as the ones just sent

I didn’t get the packet 3 till 3 weeks after in the mail. When I noticed I was in “ready status” I submitted my completed packet 3 to the Montreal email and got a generic email stating it will be 8 we

Update:

 

Got Packet 3 email on 24th May and we responded with DS 160,  scanned Passport page and check list on the same day.  Now waiting for packet 4. I have updated the timeline as well.

I spoke too soon!! Received Packet 3 AND Packet 4 today!!! However, I can't book my interview because Montreal has no appointments available??? lol I can't win!! I wonder if anyone knows how long it usually takes for appointments to open up and if it's normal for there not to be any available??

I will for sure. It seems like never ending waiting! So many ups and downs. But at least things are moving. I guess it could always be worse!

There is a diehard September filer from Tokyo that made checking for openings her f/t job.

Her first interview was July, then she rescheduled for June when one became available then finally May 23rd. 

I think three times is the max you can reschedule without repaying the fee but it's worth a try if you have the time to keep checking.

Oh I will be checking non-stop lol. I will be fine with whatever the closest date I can get. From what I can see, most people are able to get an interview date a month or so out. I’ll be okay with that. I have a lot of stuff to take care of, then finalize once I get approved (fingers crossed) lol

When you were finally able to schedule your interview after receiving packet 4...were interview dates available right away? If not, how long until dates opened up? Should I wait until I know my interview date before scheduling the medical? So many questions, I’m sorry! lol
