Hi everyone,

I had my interview on Sep 19th, Wed and my visa was approved! I just checked the CEAC website and it says "Issued". I live in BC and I am just wondering how long it takes to get my passport back? I know some people said they got it the next day or within 3 days. However I am freaking out because i just noticed Canada Post is going on Strike on Sep 26 ( next wednesday). I am hoping to get my passport back before the strike.. Is there any way we can track the delivery status? or will i have to wait till they send me an email regarding my tracking number?

Thanks a bunch! :)

Hi! We must have been at the consulate together on Wednesday morning! I'm just packing my suitcase to go home (BC as well), and I received an email with my tracking number - hope yours is also ready! :) I think we'll get them back very soon - fingers crossed!

Very happy to report that I just picked up my passport and visa envelope at the post office! I'm really impressed with how quickly they got it to me all the way out here in BC. My interview was only last Wednesday! Sending positive vibes to everyone still waiting - I hope you all get yours soon! Now time to book a one-way plane ticket :)

There is a way to send the package after interview directly to your house. My case was expedited  and in Packet4 email they asked me to pay cash at the time of interview. So I did brought cash and paid at the same day. Apparently if you  do so you  can't use their courier services.
They sent me email asking to mail them self addressed very large envelope.  So I did with my home address on it.  Not sure which way will be faster.

I had interview on April 29, 2019.  Mailed them envelope on May 2, 2019 ( being still in Montreal).

Now i am back to Vancouver.  Just waiting.
