Is it okay if physical and mailing address are different?

My fiancé (petitioner) is moving soon, before our interview,  but will continue to have everything mailed to his dad's house, and he's scared the Consulate won't take his documents like tax returns, bank statements, etc. if he has a different address different to the actual one where he lives.

I told him it would be no problem, that people do this all the time, but I'm just looking for some reassurance or experiences of people that have had any issues with this.

Thank you!

Thank you! Is it necessary to update his address on USCIS or with my consulate at this point? Our interview is in a month :)

The petitioner does not have to update his address with the USCIS unless he/she has an unapproved petition or an in effect I-864

Thank you! I already filed my DS-160 with the "old" address, I guess I could just ask him to file the I-134 with both addresses, his mailing address (the "old one") and his new physical address. Would that be correct?
