Hi everyone - Firstly, this forum has been immensely helpful, so thanks to the community for taking the time to post their experiences and suggestions!

I submitted my I-751 ROC application by UPS overnight to the CSC. They received it on May 2nd. My conditional GC expires next week. Given the delays being reported by the April 2018 filers, it doesn't look like I will get my NOA in time before my GC expires. I have a couple of questions

  1. Can I make an infopass appointment, take the proof of delivery (UPS signature image and confirmation of delivery + picture and receipt of the cashier's check), explain that I may need to travel abroad in the interim and request that they stamp the I-551 on my passport? Has anyone on the board had a similar experience?
  2. Since I filed within the 90-day window, does it matter that my conditional green card expires before I receive the NOA? Is it enough for them to receive it in time for my status to remain unchanged?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

In the April thread, what are you seeing as the average delay from sending the application to receiving the NOA? Is it any longer than a couple of weeks? If so, I would advise to just sit tight, and definitely not travel abroad, and simply wait for the NOA.

Note, you don't go out of status at any time, even with an expired green card, so you don't have to worry on that front.

And finally, you are correct. You filed within the 90 day window so the eventual expiration of your green card won't have any effect on the processing of your i-751 application.

Thanks for your reply!

For some reason, for applications received after April 05, no one seems to have received the NOA!
