tax transcript trumps both w2 and 1040. 1040 doesnt mean it was actually FILED. tax transcript is direct from IRS and details everything.

i dont know why anyone WOULDNT get the transcripts. its instant online and free.

 

if you (he) insists on sending 1040, the w2 should be sent with them to corroborate the information

He have that already but he keep on saying “Why do I need to send that if it’s not needed”? Will really not going to send me that unless the consultant told him so! Lol Anyway, I understand Americans when it comes to the confidentiality of those not saying we’re not but my point its better to provide more than less though. In the Philippines, if we ask something will not provide only what is needed will provide more than what it’s really required at the same time to avoid delays.

I don't recall for sure but I think I helped this person a month or so ago. Same question, I gave the same answer, and he was being a butt and jeopardizing there application to the point I had to write a post addressing this situation directly to him. She was going to share it. Don't know if this is the same hard headed individual or not. Oy Vey

This is what you will need for the interview:

 

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

I don't think this is something you want to hear, but. Some people who's also legit with a very easy case from previous months still waiting also. You're not alone in this process.

You're 6 months far already. Try to. chanel your focus on something else. Documents required for the interview, wedding thingy, AOS process. Get fit for the medical. List of things you two would want to do or get or do around the house. Anything to keep the good mood in the relationship.

Should request ww from your employer to go along with tax transcript. Lots of folks cannot read the transcript so I would take both.

There were no mention of RFE’s, no derogatory remarks about my self which I knew there would not be. I told her that people are getting approved before me that have later dates so I wanted to know where I’m at and of course she just said it’s in review...even if she was looking what the hold up is right there on her screen. 

 

This is very frustrating knowing there is nothing that truly could hold us up so I’m scratching my head as to why knowing we are legit and we both are relatively easy to process and a low fraud country. 

 

It frustrates me because if they needed something I would handle it or correct something I would do it right away. I can’t point my finger on why the wait.

 

She said they are still doing April 12 but that doesn’t do anything for me when others are being approved after me (and all you guys know Im happy for you) so all I can do is wait. 

 

If they needed something or had a question I would handle for them I don’t think it’s too much to ask to know where we are truly in the process being Im at the six month point already and not just given a canned statement. For the record the USCIS people were nice they just don’t tell you much.

Larry I feel your pain and this is one time that's it's NOT just lip or pen service. I'm right there with you only I have not called in lieu of letting this process run it's course. I'll wait until a later date to try to communicate with USCIS. They seem to give the same answers most of the time so I want to avoid and added undue stress. It is very unnerving to see other folks that filed weeks past you get approved. It's easy for people looking from outside (or who have already gotten) their approvals to analyze you and say chill out get a hobby do this or that, but we meaning people who are, or who have been in our situation we truly know the frustrations. All I can offer is stay strong in your relationship, make some alternate plans should the unforeseen happen ( always have a plan B).

 

I truly feel you as testament to my time line it's still early yet let's you and I step back take a deep breath and try to take a productive step forward. I feel you buddy!!!!!!!!

I have same dates like you. We did sent on 26. They received on 5/29 and notice date 6/01.
