Let me just say to the folks, like myself, who are waiting...we are next. We have seen from 1 - 30 in the first 8 days of May.  To keep things in perspective, I think we will hear soon.  @Sarge2155 just think!  @NicholeT, not sure anyone from Jamaica got approved this month as yet so...we're doing good still for 8 days.  Feeling good today!!

No, as far as I know no one from Jamaica has been approved.

Congrats on your approval.

Send what your embassy/consulate asks for (looks like Manila for you, so lots of people here know how things work there).

I know Moscow requires either

1040 and W2 for the last year

OR

tax transcripts for the last year.

And this is fairly typical, but some consulates ask for more.

Today I talked with Tier 2 and the USCIS lady basically told me that my case was assigned and ‘he’ has it, it’s pending and received on May 11th. There were no mention of RFE’s, no derogatory remarks about my self which I knew there would not be. She said maybe there were a lot of people with my name, well maybe there are but if thats the case we all have different SS numbers so I don’t buy that. I have a clean record and the same job for 20 plus years, I’m divorced but that’s  almost ten years ago and I provided the divorce decree. I proved we met in person and I went through our application over and over before i mailed it in no stone left unturned.

She said maybe they are doing a check on my fiancé which is fine, maybe Bolivia is the hold up but I always thought my fiancé would be looked at during the interview stage.

I told her that people are getting approved before me that have later dates so I wanted to know where I’m at and of course she just said it’s in review...even if she was looking what the hold up is right there on her screen.

This is very frustrating knowing there is nothing that truly could hold us up so I’m scratching my head as to why knowing we are legit and we both are relatively easy to process and a low fraud country.

It frustrates me because if they needed something I would handle it or correct something I would do it right away. I can’t point my finger on why the wait.

She said they are still doing April 12 but that doesn’t do anything for me when others are being approved after me (and all you guys know Im happy for you) so all I can do is wait.

If they needed something or had a question I would handle for them I don’t think it’s too much to ask to know where we are truly in the process being Im at the six month point already and not just given a canned statement. For the record the USCIS people were nice they just don’t tell you much.

Thanks VJ friends

Thank you for answering. My fiancé don’t won’t give me both 1040 and W2 he said I don’t need the W2 because I have the 1040 that shows more details than of the W2. We keep arguing now lol and to top it all because the consultant (or the one who processed our paper) didn’t say that he need to send me the W2 he will just send me what the consultant need him to send. Period.
