The app sent me a notification of an update. I had just checked both old and new websites.

I'm still trying to edit my post and delete the picture but it won't let me, I'm kind of panicking here right now, does anyone know if there's another way of fixing that? I've already contacted a moderator.

Congrats buddy!! Can u sent the links of the old and new website?

Thanks :)

Thank you! ^_^ And yes, sure!

New website (requires an account to check your case): https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Old website (you only need your case number): https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/

It’s important to always check both websites and also your mail. If you want to, you can download the uscis app and keep an eye there too. I was first notified on the app and 1 hour later, approved on old website.

I hope they expedite petitions before the Christmas holidays start. :)

@Liflead Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

How long should I wait to call? What number is the best number to reach USCIS?

Cases filed after the 'receipt date for a case inquiry' you get here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ (select I-129F and California Service Center) are considered within in normal processing times, so you've got another month or two before you can call and get anything other than a form response. And based on what I've seen from earlier months, inquiries shortly after a case got out of normal processing time seemed to usually get a non-informative 'wait another XX days' (45 or 60, usually) response, too.
