I got an email with the subject line "We have taken an action on your case." It had a link to the new site. I logged in and saw the approval. It was 5:30am California time. Needless to say, I didn't go back to bed!!

Did they alert you or were you just checking?? Congratulations!!!!

The app sent me a notification of an update. I had just checked both old and new websites.

I'm still trying to edit my post and delete the picture but it won't let me, I'm kind of panicking here right now, does anyone know if there's another way of fixing that? I've already contacted a moderator.

Congrats. And I'm only an extrovert on the internet . Back at home, I'm a middle-aged programmer who doesn't get out much (other than visiting a certain Russian girl every few months for the last year or so ...).

NOA-2 (via an email that directed me to the USCIS new site): 11-06-2018

And congratulations to everyone else finding out today. LOVE WINS!!

I know right, I'm also an introvert and I'd often times find myself coming here to check how everyone was doing. It helped me, in a way, to keep busy and positive. I feel so happy when I see an approval, it's like we're part of a big (may filers) family haha. Many of you have helped me in my journey and are still helping through this forum and I'm very thankful. I've spent countless days reading VJ even before filing my petition and I still do.
I'm hopeful to see more approvals coming.
Cheers!

I made an inquiry to our lawyer this morning, and he replied the following:

"Unfortunately, there is a three month (sometimes more) margin around reported processing times"

Lets hope for the best... anyway eventually we will know the outcome :)

And CONGRATULATIONS to all people receiving good news today !!

There was a fellow VisaJourney who said USCIS told him/her that they will process a lot of applications before the hollidays .. it seems this is the case ... 😃 and it gives us hope

Hi All,

I am also a longtime lurker and a very appreciative stalker. The apps and suggestions have been paramount in my helping me manage this waiting period. I really appreciate the vulnerability and openness everyone has demonstrated on the thread. I received my NOA-2 today. Day 188!

I received a notification from the app (case tracker), the other app (USCIS App) and a text notification. I really appreciated the USCIS App because it helped me to analyze the cases that have a similar number to mine.  My honey is also from the islands (Trinidad and Tobago).

For me information = comfort so thank you all for the suggestions regarding the different ways I could get information (i.e. apps and USPS mail scanning thing) though all of them gave me the same information, I felt a little bit of control which translated to comfort for me. Keep hope alive everyone, you all should be hearing soon!! Sending positive thoughts!

Congratulations & I so relate to your comment.
