Hi there!! 

 

So I have only flew once to the US since we filed in December. We are super cautious so our thinking was that as I live in NI, Dublin is only two hours drive for me. Was literally crapping my pants as it was my first trip there since NOA1. NO Need to worry. As I can preclear in Dublin versus preclearing in the US-i thought why wouldn’t i choose that option?! I mean if I did happen to get denied entry i thought i would only have a two hour drive back instead of forking out the last minute price of a turn around plane taking me home again. Once I was precleared in Dublin I had nothing to worry about and so could get excited about my first trip to the US in 9 months. I’d really encourage it.

 

Now as December approvals are soon to fully begin I’m not going to rock the boat to plan another US trip, plus my fiancé is excited coming to the UK in August! We found that small trips made our time pass quickly as it broke the time up. I remember day 30 as clear as day and now we are day 167. Small trips are key we found ❤️

Welcome to the thread.

 

Since it's pretty nearly impossible to get a tourist visa from Russia to the US right now (or at least the waiting period to get an interview for one is about as long as the whole K-1 process), A's first visit will be with her K-1. We've been meeting every 3-4 months or so (twice in third countries, once in Russia), and my intention is to keep doing that until she's got an interview date.

no. why would it be? your visa isnt for one specific location, its for the Country. As long as you didnt overstay, its not an issue.

 

And meeting friends and family is always a good thing!

The 1st. Before I had my paper NOA1. They're supposed be every two weeks if you don't turn them off (at least, I think you can).

 

So one down, somewhere around 13 to go if my VJ timeline is accurate ...
