On the home page go to country specific info...top middle and scroll down to Jamaica and follow it. You can also go down to the Embassy tab and read about steps in the process.

@Sabrina02 I also found this -After NOA2 you wait for the NVC to issue a case number for your petition. You can start calling the NVC about 2 weeks after your NOA2 date to see if they have generated a case number. Once you have the case number, you can track where the case is (at NVC, in transit, or at the embassy). Once the case arrives at your embassy or consulate, you can fill out the DS-160 form online and prepare to schedule the interview.

Yesss, that's another thing I've been thinking about. I'm hoping that if we get our NOA 2 soon then maybe we can at least schedule the appointments before the holidays.

I told everyone 25 dollar gift cards. And I have no children so I only really do my nieces and nephews. But I'm picking up a ton of shifts at work and working every holiday ( double time) Hopefully next year ill be spending the holidays with my husband!!!

I have a question, I am going to visit my fiancee in a few weeks and hoping we get NOA2 while I am there. I was going to try and bring as much paperwork as possible for the interview. I am filling out the I-134 and it shows that it expires 11/30/2018. Does anyone know how to get a new version or do I have to wait until 12/1 to get it?

I was wondering this too

The "expiration date" on USCIS forms are for internal purposes only; until there's a new version of a form available, you can use the old one, and they'll give a grace period where the old one is still accepted when that happens.

On the USCIS website it says "11/30/16. No previous editions accepted. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions." I I guess I will take this one to her it has an expiration date of 11/30/2018 but I will check after I get back from seeing her and see if there is a new edition. I don't mind filling it out again but I want her to have everything she needs in case I can't make it to the interview.

Check the USCIS website even though a lot of forms may expire they often do not have a new version, but they will accept the expired version until a certain date. Just check the web site and they will tell you if you can continue to use the form or not.

We have seen that sometimes they will renew a form that expires and we have seen it continue to be used until such time as a new form is release. In any event, they will most likely use the start date of the new rendition of that form and they will tell you when they will discontinue a form. All updates to forms can be tracked here: https://www.uscis.gov/forms-updates  If you see a form that will soon expire and it may expire after it's intended use (Embassy interview) then it's best to wait till you are closer to your interview.

All previous editions are accepted anyway. The OMB (Office of Management and Budget) expiration date only matters internally for the USCIS. That expiration date has nothing to do with whether or not it will be acceptable for you to use. The edition date is what matters. The accepted edition dates for the forms are listed on the site where the forms can be found and downloaded. The I-134 states this. > https://www.uscis.gov/i-134
