We just got APPROVED today!

NOA1: May 19

NOA2: Nov 1

I found out when I checked the USCISApp for iPhone. The website hasn't updated yet to show the approval. What a relief, though! Wow! 😎

Good luck everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!  :dancing:

179 days! I deleted applications and I stopped checking online. I saw May 17 got approval and we’re May 7 lol. I’m not gonna expect this November. Looking forward by December. Someone called and they says if 7 months no approval yet just call them back again to remind lol. Wt* life is so unfair 😓

I received a VERY great job offer today. They know I'm on this whole K1 thingy and said that if I can at least work for them until end of year 2019, they'll transfer me to their soon-to-be-open US branch at that time and it will be a win-win solution for both party.

I wish there's a way to know exactly how long this process is going to take... I know there are couples who got their NOA2 or approval after almost a year. I really don't mind waiting that long as long as I know beforehand. But waiting with no certainty really is.. Not fun.

Wish I can just ring USCIS and ask whether I'll get an approval within the timeline. Lol

I'm sorry for whining. Not even able to decide if getting a new washing machine will be a bad investment or not kinda bug me.

If I were guessing and based on the timelines we are seeing you would be able to probably have an interview late January. You could be in the states by Mid February. Your mileage may vary.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Yes Sir I understand. Thank you for encouraging me!

My timeline could easily stretch to June if we go with the "realistic" time frame tho. Just saying. 😁

And based on the 3rd quarter report USCIS released yesterday, they do have too many pending cases. But we'll see.

Yeah; not being able to really plan anything is probably the most difficult thing about this; if you know it's going to take a specific long amount of time, then you can plan additional in-person meetings while you wait without worrying that you'd miss the first available time for an interview appointment or something like that. Even assuming you stay within normal processing times, there's a two month window for NOA2. Seems like about 3 weeks between min and max normal processing time at NVC. And for us, Anastasia might be able to get an interview in Moscow a month after our petition gets there, or it might take three.
