hurry up and wait, as the saying goes.

i pointed out to Paul last night that if you think about it (im trying to be optimistic lol), 6 months ago was Thanksgiving/Christmas time, and that wasnt that far ago. so hopefully.... this too will go quick.

in the meantime, we live as we have. 3 weeks at a time (he comes 'home' every third weekend), and then work on home renovations while hes here, or do fun stuff (next weekend is a fun stuff weekend. we're taking my kids to luray caverns in va- about 3 hours from our house). in july, me and the kids are going up there for a long weekend, august is a jimmy buffett concert, then i start planning for halloween and the party (and hell be here for that). that takes us to november and then we wait a little MORE anxiously lololol

so ... keep living life and ... wait.

We received NOA1 last May 10, im just worry to get RFE my fiance stated he was arrested way back 1998. Disorderly conduct, trespassing, and drug paraphernalia. But when he got his police report it was just one case of arrest which is just disorderly conduct. He still stated The 3 cases even if just one case on his police report, because he told me those 2 might be gone now on the police record but USCIS double check the his back ground. He said he dont want to lie and get in trouble. Is that okay we sent our case without statement on his lose criminal record? Im anxious about our case 😞

I've been a member here for quite awhile just mailed off our K1 application May 7th, they signed for it on May 8th via the lockbox in Lewisville, Texas. Got the paper NOA1 on May 11th. So I guess we got a bit of a wait. been waiting waiting for other things (Philippines annulment) so maybe we can do 6 months on our heads, I don't think so though, well anyway just glad to be finished with the courts over in the Philippines and finally being able to file our K1 application.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

He is USC, I’m hoping we won’t get RFE since they do background check. my friend told me not to think about it, because like on her case before her Fiancé declared 2 divorced on their application. But on her interview embassy told her, her fiancé was not only 2 divorced it was 4. Because they really do background check. Anyway she still approved though.
