It's your lucky day. We are running a special be in one month and get another month free. :D Welcome and we hope you get the answers you need to proceed to the end of this process. Be sure to update your timeline. Having said that....

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

We welcome you and we hope your stay here is short ( meaning you get your NOA2 soon) until then make yourself right at home. It's a new month October perhaps next month we get some action or at least some of us. I am almost sure the way things have been going for other months we can expect to see a few of us get approved very very soon, I might even say any day now. The approvals have been all over the place and no one can pin point exactly what's going on so ANYTHING can happen.

Finally, let the countdown begin!!! I hope you enjoy your visit, I leave Thursday to visit my fiance and I'm sooo ready!!! I've been staying busy and trying not to focus on the process too much. It's getting harder now especially since I've seen a few April filers have been approved. I'm ready to get to that point as I'm sure we all are. Hopefully, it won't be much longer!

I’ll be waiting with you my noa1 is only 6 days before yours and we submitted so much it may take them a week to get through it all 😂😂😂

Yeah, it will be difficult watching basically the entire group of April folks gets approved before us, but it can always be worse. (Still seeing January and February NOA1 approvals) I'm happy for everyone who gets to be together.  It's easy to be supportive of those who file before you, it will only get tough once I see people who filed a month or two after me that I would get really nervous.  But that's why I thought I'd join this thread, too.  So I'll have someone to talk to once you all leave the April thread for the NVC one.

Thanks for the warm welcome to this thread.  10 April approvals now!  That number should start increasing every day!

Hi guys sorry out of topic, but I am really scared and confuse right now. I really need your guys opinion about my story.

My Fiance and I  have been together for 3 years we meet very often around 6 times per year (minimum 1 weeks, maximum 3 weeks) either he comes to visit me or we went traveling together. I never get a chance to meet his parents in the US (because my visitor visa got rejected twice) but I've been living in the US before for 6 months when I am doing my Internship, we got engaged last September 2017, and finally filled for K1 May 2018.

3 days ago we just realized that we didn't submit the correct document and maybe the visa will get rejected. Anyway, we get into a difficult conversation because I asked him to get married first just in case the visa got rejected and apply for a spouse visa. We can move to another country first live together and wait until we get the visa and move to the US. Suddenly he said he is not ready to get married because we never live together before and we not sure if we can build a happy family in the future or not. So he really wants us to live together first before getting married. We came to the conversation when I asked him if I already moved there and after 3 months he thinks we not ready what he gonna do, he said that "He will ask me to go back to my home country and apply again for K1so we can try to live together again." It really breaks me apart cause I quit my job to prepare for us. We already prepared an engagement party in my hometown before I moving to the US. He cancels our marriage plan for the third time now. He promised me to marry me someday when he is ready. But after many broken promises, I don't think if I can trust him or not. Do you guys think I should break up with him?

For more information, I am 26 years old, doing very well on my own, I am from the middle-class family, I have a very good job in Singapore. The only reason I want to move to the US is because I just wanna stay and build a family with him.  I am really sad right now and feels so stressed. I really love him but I don't think he cares about my feelings after he said the things above. I know it's very important for him to live together but is it ok to sacrifice my feelings for that?  Thank you so much guys

Love is not a game, and less in this situation. I think we all are gonna quit our lives in our countries for love and this is a real proof. I really don't think he deserves you after what he said to you. Talk to him for the last time and take a decision. Think about you and he can't play you in that way

I can't tell since I don't know either you and your fiance. Nor how your relationship is. I do know though, that a guy can get scared of all these process too just like us women. Uncertainty, confidence issue, afraid that you might not like it there and not happy... But again, I don't know either of you to be able to tell for sure.

I think it's also normal for us human to say things we didn't really mean if we let negative emotions take control.

I think its best for both of you to calm down. Leave both ego aside and talk it out like a team. Tell him what his words made you feel and that you don't tolerate those kind of behavior. Then see where it goes from there.

If he has done that 3 times already, after a 3 years relatioship, that should tell you something. Understandable if he is not sure (after 3 years) or is not ready for the next step. No one should make a decision like this under presure let alone if not sure about it.

As I said before, if he has done that 3 times and you put up with that, he'll keep on doing it and telling you "someday I will". I believe that at this point is up to you to decide whether or not to keep on waiting. I hope you have the strength and clarity to decide the best for yourself. Best wishes.
