Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself to you May filers.  I sent my packet near the end of April.  They received it on April 28, but my notice date was May 1.  So I'm one of those in-betweeners.  I've been following the April thread because that is when I sent it, but the reality is that most of those folks will probably be approved before me.  So I figured it would be a good idea to get to know you, too.  Since we will be waiting together.  I was really good about staying away from this website for the past several months.  But now that April filers are starting to get approved, I find myself checking it every day to see what dates are getting approved.  The anxiety and anticipation are overwhelming if you allow it.  In a world full of instant gratification and overnight shipping...waiting for six to nine months for something so important and major tests the limits of everyone's patience.  I wish you all luck and blessings in your future lives together and I look forward to sharing this experience with all of you!

Welcome!!!!! I’m on this website almost daily!!!! Lol I can’t believe it’s already been 128 days for me noa 1 date 5/24!! Good luck to you also!!!!

Well said and hello there and you are most welcomed to share with us here. Don't torture yourself if you feel like you want to check this site 10 times a day do it. I would find it hard to stay away now since we all are so close now. Our thread has woken up, again due to it getting so close. We are glad to welcome you.

Yes that would be great, but with this process almost nothing is certain or written in stone. Anyway all we can do is stay the course and keep positive.

I'm not normally a guy for holidays, that's something I am going to have to work on since my fiancee is very big on the Christmas season, but I was just thinking how nice it would be if we ALL had our NOA2 approvals by Christmas! Wouldn't that be nice?

Of course, Orthodox Christmas is in January ...

/not stressing too much, especially since I'm meeting up with Anastasia again in a few days.

hey guys, hows everyone, checked processing times today and it went up to 5.5 months to 7.5 months :(

I think USCIS's page is more reactive than predictive; they changed the listed times because that was a more accurate description of what was really happening. So it doesn't really change anything, except to keep people from sending an inquiry after 7 months, getting approved in the next few days, and thinking their inquiry did something.

Oh I see, that actually make a lot of sense, thanks for the insight! :) Good news though is there are some approvals from April. We are quite close. (cross fingers)

Yes I have been paying attention to April and a few approved before 10/1 so that gets me excited. I don’t really care who is first, being last would be a problem... Who knows really the rhythm or reason for who is first or not everyone is different, our applications are different and what officer you get they are different.

all I know is you should be ready for approval, RFE next step etc at this point, god bless everyone

One thing I’m seeing is how people are notified initially and finding out it’s all over the place, new site, old site, email or mail but I don’t care as long as I’m notified, lol
