Good morning. So, after looking at all of these reported processing dates, I’m feeling like it’s looking like more than 6 months. 🙁 My file is at the CA service center and looks like it’s going over 200 days. I saw some people at 230 in other groups. What are you all thinking about our possible NOA2’s?

Probably worth noting is that some people whose cases take longer are going to get more anxious and post more.

But if you look at the VJ averages for NOA1 to NOA2 in California (or incorrectly reported Texas), it's 195 days right now (199 for the last six months instead of  last year, and no change if you're looking at the last 3 months of NOA2s vs the last 6 month). So it's still pretty much the 6-7 month average it's been since summer of 2017. I'm still expecting early December, but I was late May.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Yes, I was under the impression that the average was 180 and when I looked at the charts on VJ seems to be climbing. I hear what you’re saying. I am trying to get an idea of what to expect so I can have some type of plan so I appreciate your feedback.

I was just wondering that if we have not heard anything from them by now, does it mean that we are getting approved or that means we will hear from them and that could be a RFE or NOA2 "approval letter"?

And please let's don't discourage other fellow members, the wait itself is painful and not been around our loved ones makes this wait even worst. We have different ways of coping with this and we should just be polite and encourage other fellow members. we are in this together.

Hi!

I don't think we May fillers will hear anything up until November the soonest.  But it can also stretch until January (I sure secretly am hoping to get approval LOT sooner than that! Lol) Doesn't mean anything other than they just haven't touch our petition yet. I think they are now start working on March fillers.

Some delicate cases can go all the way to one year though. So.. It really is depend on lots of things. The case itself, how you provide the evidences, background check, the person handling our cases, ya know..

I mean, I do stay busy. But still, can't help myself from peeking here and there on VJ like 5times a day like an addict. There I admit it. 🤦🏻😁

No it does not mean by any means that we are approved like what was pointed out just means they have not got to our applications yet. Yes you could get a RFE or a NOA2. I'm thinking the holidays will either hurt us or help us because you know how people get when it gets close to the holiday season they either put their work on the back burner until after New Years or they try to finish what they are working on so they can have a clean slate after New Years. Let's hope for the latter!!!!

To be honest I am thinking some of us will hear from USCIS in the November - December time frame.

Nothing wrong with visiting VJ like an addict, that's how you find out things and learn things too. Nothing wrong with it at all. I'm here quite frequent too.

One thing is for sure though whoever or whomever gets any contact from USCIS whether a RFE or NOA2 please post here so we will know we are on deck. It's not long at all folks we should be hearing something. Most of us are into our 4th month so we are close real close. Look on the bright side it's closer than when we first sent in our applications.

I'm thinking each case is different. It is sort of disheartening to see 200+ days, but don't let that be the bulk of your thinking. I'm thinking 185-195. 😀
