Wow this is the most we have talked/posted since the creation of our group. I suspect that the approaching halfway point for us has woken us up. At any rate it's very good welcome to all the additional May members that have joined us. It won't be long now!!!!

one more question, I went to see what the embassy wanted in Santo Domingo, its asking for a ds-260 not a 160 why is that?

You are K1 so you do DS160, I had the same question. We are doing a Nonimmigrant visa but in reality he/she will be an immigrant so I think the embassy is looking from it from that perspective while the USCIS for K1 is looking at us from a Nonimmigrant perspective.....DO DS160

K1 is a non immigrant visa and uses the DS160 the DS260 is a immigrant visa although the K1 is a non immigrant visa it is processed as a immigrant visa but uses the DS160. Im not sure why the DR is calling for that.

My fiancé is Dominican , but Im not sure either. That was just a little confusing. lol SO DS 160. Got it. I feel like I need to be with him when he fills it out. LOL im a worry wart.
