I think you meant DS160, I don’t think I would recommend doing this to soon but do as you wish....if the system somehow deletes your info or account from now until 3-4 months out what a mess that would be needing to correct even with a new account/email etc.

Everything else definitely prepare what you can and know the next steps, be aware for the petitioner our records need to be as current as possible....bank statements, employment verification etc

If its DS160 you can't fill that out until much later after the NOA2 plus it has to be paid for an you need other case numbers to submit  before you can fill out this online form. I would not even recommend you fill this form out until you are ready for your medical and interview. I don't think you can anyway. You are right LarryHickman. the DS160 is for the beneficiary.

Hello guys just checking in o everyone. Congratulations on being one step closer to your NOA2.

I recommend start filling out the DS10, (Don't submit it!!).

its good to have some of the smaller things completed and out of the way so once the Noa2 comes in its smooth cruising, have your fiancé familiarize where to go to pay for the visa fee, inquire about what is needed for the medical (If an appointment is needed or is walk-ins ok)

Also verify that all documents are ready such as Birth certificates and or divorce certificates if it applies to you.

Also its good to find be aware of all fees such as medical, police reports, visa application etc.

Hope this helps.

Are you going to send your beneficiary a copy of what you submitted to USCIS, lots of people only send a few forms namely just the I-129F. I chose to send a copy of the entire packet to her.

Plus a fee for medical.

Once your fiancé(e) gets here and you get married, fees for adjustment of status.

Another fee for removal of conditions on your green card unless adjustment of status took so long you get a ten-year green card right away

And then another fee for naturalization or a fee every ten years to renew your green card

Isn't this fun? 😄

I am  too!!! Im keeping all new evidence of bonafide relationship. But in October  I will give him the packet so he can familiarize himself with it. I keep researching what to do after the NOA2 so far I know is I wait 10 days and start calling the NVC to get my case number. And with that number I can schedule the medical and interview... I think.

You know what I’m curious about is how we will be notified on NOA2, NVC then embassy steps in packet 4 ( no packet 3 I read). I have read notifications can be email/text to either or both but yet to see where anything was physically mailed except an approved K1 Visa and entry packet

Hi PA2DR, once I have an approved NOA2 I’ll call in about a week, 10 days is just a standard number they throw out I think. I also believe you can schedule med and interview with the NVC case number
