We're right there with you Sarge2155 - we're still waiting on the NVC to ship our package over to the embassy.  The USCIS approved ours on 2/25 and I called (multiple times) and received our case number on 3/25.  I see that you just received the notice that it was sent to the embassy.  Congratulations!  Hopefully ours will be any day now.

Yes NVC shipped out my case today status shows "in transit" now. You did update your email with NVC even if no change? If not do it ASAP because that is how you can get the NVC email/letter quickly you need that for the medical.

My fiancee is going to wait until the status says ready before she fills it out, but she has already paid the visa fee.

Bringing up the rear turning out the lights I guess ( I think I am the last original member here to get an NOA2), nevertheless I kinda wanted to wait until I had the hard copy in my hand, but several people have inquired about me so I decided to go ahead and inform you that I was finally approved March 7th one day shy of 10 months (300) days. It's been a long and rough ride for sure and not without plenty of heartache and stress. I am well aware that this will be only a slight pause as there will more opportunities for me to WAIT.

Anyway I have been very quiet for several months, but I just wanted my group to know that I am alive even more so now. I want to shout out to Sabrina as she has been my rock and we have struggled through this process together. Her approval was a good day for me although a sad one too. She is in Jamaica visiting her fiance now and I truly wish them well. Thanks to all the well wishers over these last 10 months who have wished me well and thought about me and finally congrats to all the couples who at this moment  are together or who will be together soon. Only advice I can give is never lose hope!!!! Thank you all.

By the way I never got an RFE although I would have preferred to get one, nor do I know the reason why it took so long for my case to be approved...

Havent been in this room in a bit but just here waiting for my case to say in transit from NVC. Been waiting since 3/25 when I got my number assigned. Soon I think. So lad for my friend @Sarge2155 who has kept my same and my personal folks @NicholeT & @Jaqulin for always answering my questions.

Waiting, waiting, waiting....

Any jamaicans here still waiting...

@Sabrina02 I see your case shipped out to Kingston on the 16th sooo glad you are on the move again. I guess we are the last two original members so we will both get the lights once we are on our way to the AOS phase. I'm sure most everyone has already married by now save us LOL, but it's better late than never. Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone in this forum and thread, I was late to discover this forum,  but all the info and encouragement here helped during this unexpectedly long process. Thanks as well to Sarge and all the kind words in this long process and best of luck as well.   We were a May 2018 FILER too and it took us a year to get our approval for my fiance's visa, her interview was today and she got approved and she will be with me the soonest. We will get married her first week, after getting her SSN etc.. and will facilitate the AOS process as well.  We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together and cheers to all. I'll see you guys in the May 2019 AOS thread, hopefully we make it that month. Kind Regards to all.
