Bringing up the rear turning out the lights I guess ( I think I am the last original member here to get an NOA2), nevertheless I kinda wanted to wait until I had the hard copy in my hand, but several people have inquired about me so I decided to go ahead and inform you that I was finally approved March 7th one day shy of 10 months (300) days. It's been a long and rough ride for sure and not without plenty of heartache and stress. I am well aware that this will be only a slight pause as there will more opportunities for me to WAIT.

 

Anyway I have been very quiet for several months, but I just wanted my group to know that I am alive even more so now. I want to shout out to Sabrina as she has been my rock and we have struggled through this process together. Her approval was a good day for me although a sad one too. She is in Jamaica visiting her fiance now and I truly wish them well. Thanks to all the well wishers over these last 10 months who have wished me well and thought about me and finally congrats to all the couples who at this moment  are together or who will be together soon. Only advice I can give is never lose hope!!!! Thank you all.

 

By the way I never got an RFE although I would have preferred to get one, nor do I know the reason why it took so long for my case to be approved...go figure!!!!!

Congrats. Really hope the rest of the process goes more smoothly for you and your fiancée; you were one of the first people in this thread last May when I popped in for the first time.

 

As for us... Anastasia's flight to LA is on Monday.

Not going to breathe easy until the hard copy is in my hands though, USCIS has told me many things over the months, some not exactly true and I'm  just a bit leary understandably so!
