My medical was Monday 14th January, my interview Tuesday 22nd January. I have had to request an additional report from my GP, so that is why my medical was not there waiting for me at the interview.

We got notification our papers have left the NVC for London yesterday, can I ask how your medical appointment booking went, how long was the wait from call to appointment? I’m going to be scheduling mine soon and was wondering roughly what your wait time was.

USEM has gone to a new interviewing system. They are now doing interview's by appointment and interviews are on Thursday's only. Right now they are in the middle of April and that month is filling fast. You may not get to interview till late May or June. Sorry.:(

Thanks! 

If you have your case number from the NVC then you can go ahead now and call Visa Medicals in London and book your appointment. I am not sure how far ahead they are booking, give them a call and ask, they are super friendly. When I booked mine I needed it in 3 weeks time and that was fine.

Medical now approved and was sent over to the embassy today. Wooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo!

 

Now to wait for the visa to actually arrive.  5 - 10 days is the timescale.  Has anyone recently received theirs through London? If so how many days did it take from the day of the interview to receiving the packet when you pay extra for the courier to your home?
