How long are the documents (letter from work, letter from banking officer and etc.) good to use at the interview before they need to be redone?

Usually within 6 months but review the P3 letter to see if it says something different as each embassy can be different.

Hope this is the right thread - we filed on May 10th 2018; got NOA2 'approval' end of Nov but didn't hear anything else yet. My fiancée emailed the NVC and just heard back that we do now have a case number but haven't heard anything from the embassy in the UK yet.... Assuming/hoping it will only be a matter of weeks (or even days?!)

Anyone know if there's anything else we can be doing besides just waiting??

  • If you're missing any required vaccines, get them (ask in the UK forum for details for your country)
  • Get any required police certificates
  • Have your fiancée put together the affidavit of support and supporting documentation
  • Do what you can to get ready to leave without committing to a specific departure date

But other than that, not much.

I'm just curious. Are there any May 2018 filers out there who have heard from the US Embassy after getting a NVC case number? I'm still waiting for my case number and see others are starting to receive them. Just trying to get an idea on how fast the NVC is working.

Based on what Im seeing in the December NOA2 thread, you may want to call the NVC for your case number.  Some early December NOA2s case numbers are assigned already.

Depends on your Embassy. Financial information shouldn't be older then 3 months prior but their is no set rule unless of course your Embassy states it on their website or in the P3 letter.

Figured I'd check the numbers for May filer I-129F/CSC timelines again this morning.

We're currently at 122 unapproved (19 with RFEs), and 209 approved. So 63.1% with NOA2, and 68.9% have been acted on if you also count those with unresolved RFEs.

Good luck to everyone here still waiting.
