Personal note:  Even 11 years later, I acutely remember my presence in my monthly filers' thread.  The thick tension could be cut with a knife, and the information level was usually "the blind leading the deaf."  We didn't know what we didn't know.  I would have given a lot if long-time members had donated their wisdom on our behalf, but I don't remember any who did.  Consider taking what you can gain from the perspective and experience being offered by such members in this thread.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I called today and spoke to a Tier 2 officer and according to him we have been approved as of Dec.12😭😭😭😭😭❤❤Finally after 219 days! Keep the faith May filers your day is coming😘 and it'll be worth it in the end!

How long are the documents (letter from work, letter from banking officer and etc.) good to use at the interview before they need to be redone?
