Hello everyone, someone linked me to this thread when I asked about NOA1 to NOA2 timelines. NOA1 on 31 May for us!

Welcome Ellie you are in the right place our place here is not as big as some of the others, I'm not sure if that's because the number of May 2108 filers or the fact that not many people have joined us here. I have seen other May 2108 filers on VJ but they are hanging out in other threads. I think this is due to the sheer volume of information available here throughout VJ. All of us here are plowing towards the halfway mark I'm about 87 days in. Not meaning to say that in 6 months I'll have my NOA2, but I've found looking at the 6 month point is something to reach for and it helps me as it was just yesterday it seems I was in FedEx mailing my submission. I realize it may be longer than 6 months and I also realize we have to wait our turn. I do get some comfort here with VJers of my own month.

By all means broaden your knowledge in other threads, but this is OUR special place just as the others see their place as their special place. I'm 100% sure that as we approach our proposed dates this place will light up. You'll be sure to hear from me once it's my time, I'm usually here everyday searching and reading learning what's ahead in this long journey. It's just so darn hard not to think about all the things that can go wrong at any phase in the process. I'm sure we all can relate to that.

Tell me about it we all are a mess I imagine. I usually hate the fall months and especially winter time, but I can't wait until they are here now. You going to see your other half? I just came back from my second trip to the Philippines in April to see mine. It's sad but I don't think I'll get another chance to visit before the K1 is finished, so you enjoy your visit. It's great for all the couples that are close and/or who are able to visit many times.

That's neat you chose to count the other way on your ticker LOL. Yeah the horror stories are brutal too and I too have many concerns and fears. I guess that is part of the process though. We just have to be mostly positive in our day to day thoughts, notice I said mostly LOL

Wow nice, I'm sure your wait is short in comparison or should I say the time flies by faster for you. That's really nice. You are keeping all this additional proof aren't you?

We'll be doing our third meeting this year (and fourth overall) in October. Would like to meet more often, but there's only so many times we can take a week and change off work. If we're around normal processing times for NOA2, then whether we try and meet again early in 2019 is going to be largely dependent on interview date availability in Moscow, I think.

hey, i found out someone already got approved from june filler, is that true? ☺️

If I remember right, last fall there was one case that got approved way earlier than normal processing times and didn't seem to be an expedite. Unfortunately, it wasn't any kind of a trend.
