I put in an online service request yesterday and the email confirmation said to expect a reply by December 27th. I also called today but I was unable to speak to a T2 Officer they said due to call volume as the T2 Officers are not accepting any calls at that particular moment. The lady was nice and looked in my case as far as she had access. She said she could not tell me if my case was being looked at at the moment but that my case has been "moved" several times. She explained not just one person looks at the case. She did confirm that my online service request had been assigned to someone and I guess that its being worked.

I may try to call again later or for sure in the morning she said it is best first thing in the mornings less wait.

Call later and first thing in the morning. I hope you get somewhere. Both you and @NicholeT deserve good answers for patience especially. Good luck!

Knowing your luck the guy working on your case quit. Just humor no offense Sarge. I understand your frustration, I'm a few weeks behind you but it does get frustrating to see people weeks ahead of you get approved while your case collects dust. Hang in there and don't give up hope. My fiancee is very anxious as well. I checked the case tracker and only 10 the people around me have been approved. 10 out of 50 approved, 3 rejected for improperly filed/incorrect fee, 10 RFE (4 responses received), 1 withdrawn, 1 name changed?!, and 25 case was received. Date on the app is May 31. Who knows about cases that got a "silent" approval. So half of the ones I can pull up around me have been acted on.

You will be ready in a few more days to submit your inquiry too. Are you going to?

You know we understand  your discouragement as we are the same, but don't let this process run you over. I know that's hard to do, but you have to try. Once you submit if needed your inquiry you'll feel a tad better, don't lose sight of the prize!

I called yesterday when my case tracker said my case updated but I think it was just the website acting all hinky that prompted it. Lady was really nice and said that no action had been taken since it was received. She didn't give me more info and I didn't ask. I don't know if calling does any good or not as far as kicking someone in the rear end to get the case moving or not. I've said before I have a traffic violation that shows up on my background checks which I didn't even think about until after I sent in my I-129F. So I'm pretty sure that will cause a delay for me. Who knows what they check when they get the case.

I'm kinda nervous about my fiancee's divorce decree and wondering if it is the actual thing from the court or what. It has the court stamp and I had it translated from a company in Vietnam and mailed to me. Places here wanted $250-$500 to translate her divorce decree and birth certificate but they did it for like $25 and sent it UPS to me. I just hope that I don't get an RFE for that because it will be a pain to tell her what I need I think, not to mention the cost involved in mailing.

Did you speak to a Tier 2 Officer when you called?

No, I'm still at least 3 weeks away from being out of processing. The old site says they received my case on May 31 but the last action taken is June 5th and the new site says June 4th. At this point I'm not too worried because I was hoping for an interview date on January 14th or 21st because of Lunar New Year in Vietnam but that doesn't seem realistic anymore. The Consulate is closed that whole week and I want to try and fly back with my fiancee so we are probably looking at something like February 18th or 25th at the earliest. Still a ways away.
