I think later on today I'm going to go out get me a big sloppy ol cheeseburger with extra onions, fries and a strawberry shake. That will give me a few minutes of comfort. LOL

Enjoy it. I just get into work around the house.

Remember to keep your relationships strong, don't be afraid to let your partner know how you are feeling, at the same time hopefully your partner is in your corner and understanding in this trying situation. My fiancee told me that in her group chat (May 2018) on messenger or Facebook there is a couple that broke up and their K1 was approved a few days later 10 months it took to get approved. The break up was mutual no details were supplied other than the beneficiary wanting to know what she could do to cancel the K1 even after she knew it was approved. We all know or should realize that this K1 process is very trying and stressful, do not let it get the best of you, don't say things to your partner that you will regret later. An argument is like a fire and it takes water to put it out (maybe if it's a small fire a blanket would work LOL) but you get my drift. In an argument one of the parties is going to have to be the water!!!!! Also loving your partner is 99% of the solution

So sad. A long distance relationship is very hard and a K1 relationship is a different beast altogether. You have to have incredible patience and trust. I hadn't seen Hue since my May trip so I flew to Vietnam for 3 days to spend the weekend with her. I know a lot of people don't have that luxury but there is a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding that goes on between cultures/languages and being with her for 3 days was just what we needed. I took a bunch of paperwork to her so she could start sorting it out and labeling it so she has something to do. Just hang in there people and don't let your emotions get the best of you.

I wanted to go to jamaica for the holidays but as close as we are, the flight there would be wasteful we thought, from August I havent seen the love of my life. The video calling and quick texting does not replace a hug. I hope December yields a reply.

@Poohnispongy I would like to caution you on your word choice in this case the use of the word "graduate". As I am sure you are aware that several of us here are still waiting word from USCIS. I am normally not a thin skinned type of guy but under the circumstances I am sure you can understand my irritation in your word choice. Maybe it's just me, but I was slightly irritated reading that portion of your reply. I submit it could have been written differently giving a bit more respect to those of us still here waiting. I want to apologize too if i seem a bit on edge, but like I said the word just rubbed me a bit the wrong way.

I don't think they met any harm and it was not personal. This whole process can get to ones self. Sometimes, getting away from VJ for a week or so can help ease the anxiety. I sometimes can get edgy myself after answering a question over and over. Just had someone ask a question that I just made a SPECIAL post about what would have answered their question. I was a little blunt with my answer to them today. Guess that one will bite me in the Tuchus. :D
