We are still within our 7 months so no RFE. Just sitting reading, congratulating and learning while here.  The folks like myself @Sarge2155 @NicholeT and much more according to stats just with VJ are just hanging out.  My country, Jamaica, are slow to crank out approvals an average day wait  of like 188 days...the max seems like 196 days without RFE and as early as 182 no RFE.  With all that the bottom line is we are waiting.  As the T@ officer told me the other day, no RFE is not a bad thing so hopefully soon.

We are here guys...

Yeah still here 202 Days in been beating my head up against the wall thinking about what could possibly be the reason why my case is "stuck" as I am sure other people in my situation have done at one time or another. The out of processing counter is right at April 30th now fast approaching my receipt date. I wonder what excuse they use if I reach my out of processing date and when I call them. I can only imagine another generic answer. @Sabrina02 I'm still here but I don't come online that much anymore as I really have nothing to say at this point, I'm sure you understand what I mean. Last I called I was told my case was out for background checks in July...JULY this is F%^&()&$ November. I've been vetted before via the government for a TSA position it took no where near that long only a matter of days so i have no idea other than there are always a few cases that seem to get "stuck" in processing. I'm still here though nothing much I can do at this point.

Yes, my 7 months ends next week  but I'm hoping to hear something by then🤞🏽🤞🏽

Yes same here approaching that 7 months, but I think you have to wait until the web site list your receipt date of your NOA1 before they consider you out of processing not necessarily right at 7 months but a little over I'm thinking.

I’ve been wondering how that works ie. if the email is the very first notification and all the other notifications follow from there.  It’s the not knowing which is the most demoralising.  Do any of the beneficiaries still waiting have children on their application as well?

specially June have lots of approval happy for them but how about may they should finish it. 1st just saying

That's not going to happen still folks in December 2017 still waiting. I think the cases that process fast get processed and moved on down the line.  Then other cases just seem to be slow or hard to process for whatever reason  "IF ANY REASON"

Seems to me like my email or notifications are broken LOL I have not been notified since my NOA1 back in early May, but you are right not knowing why or how you'll get notified is the pits. Just another thing to add to your bowl of stress.

Oh ok, as I stated earlier I'm hoping to hear something before then but if not I'll be calling 7 months and 1 day later😂😂! I've been trying to stay off of here a little more too just impatiently awaiting my turn.

It helps a bit to not come here so much like in the beginning, I'm not really in the festive mood these days to much, I'm sure you can relate. Like you said waiting impatiently....

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that would make things slower for almost everyone.

There are still a decent number of people without NOA2 from April, a non-trivial number from March, and a handful from earlier months. And while there's no obvious reason why some cases take so long going by what people post there, it's really unlikely that USCIS just puts a few cases on the shelf and forgets about them for no reason. Whether they're willing to say... that's another matter entirely.

I was actually using the processing times on USCIS website as when to expect my case to be approved before I found the VJ chart that showed everyone's NOA dates. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Times were much happier then I think because I only saw the date they were on lol.

See what I mean you are trying to figure out what's wrong with your case. Don't beat yourself up to much I know you will still do it, but it will give you the same result and you still won't really know why.
