Did you find out how long it takes to get the paper? I read it may take about 3 weeks, but I'm hoping that's what they tell you so you don't bug them about it too often.

Doing express so it won’t take that long .. they said we can express it

Hey, May filers!

 

Just wanted to give some info on our experience. We received NOA1 via email on May 23. I signed up at myUSCIS (my.uscis.gov) about a week ago and added our case number to my account.

 

I received an email Friday, November 16 titled "We have taken an action on your case," then once I logged into myUSCIS it said that we were approved!! However, both the case status checker and the app haven't updated our case status yet. I also did not receive a text message.

 

We received the physical NOA2 in the mail today, November 20.

 

I just wanted to let anyone still waiting know that you should sign up at myUSCIS. As others have said, it seems to be the most up-to-date.

Is it ok if the beneficiary is the one to create an account on new website (myUSCIS) or is it for the petitioner only? Please, i need enlightenment. Lol

Since I'll be visiting family over Thanksgiving, this is probably the last status update until Saturday or Sunday, but....

138/316 May filer I-129f/California timelines have a NOA2. 19 RFEs without a NOA2, excluding one probable typo. So 43.5% of May 2018 filer timelines here at VJ have an approval, and 49.7% have been acted on. That's pretty amazing given just over a month since the first non-expedite approval we saw here.
