Where did you get this. Want b.v to check my numbers

The "USCIS" case tracker app has that functionality. It's less useful than it looks because even just at CSC, most petitions are not I-129Fs.

Hey everyone and for those who called USCIS,

how are you guys able to get a hold of Tier2? What questions would you normally ask?

Thanks!!

Calling USCIS is a waste of your valuable time. If you are within the normal adjudication time (7 months) calling is not going to move your record to a conclusion. The only time you would call is if you are outside of normal AT. The place to call is NVC to get your case number so that you can start the process for your embassy. If you can't start the process for your Embassy until say they receive your record or you pay all the fees and have to email them with your DS-160 or any number of requests that embassies are apt to ask then calling for your case number is also a waste your time but it's a waste of time that someone else that needs to get through to an agent has to either wait or try another time.

Just use common sense. I just think people think they have to call because all the other sheep are calling. Just my opinion.

How long do you have to wait after your I-129F is approved before you call NVC for your case number?

I called the USCIS National Customer Service Center today to ask if I needed to wait til I was approved before mailing in the forms to get my original birth certificate back, the man on the phone said no and also told me that he shows that we were approved (NOA2) today anyways! News to me!! I don't have it updated on the website or an email but he said that I should be getting my paper copy in the next few days by mail! I'm so happy I woke my sleeping fiance (midnight there) to tell him ❤️

NOA1 New Website 05/31/18

NOA1 Old Website   05/25/18

I imagine it is a safe assumption to make that he didn't mind getting woken up for that news!!

Congratulations

Thanks lol, I was stalking a few myself but I think I'm going to stay off of here for awhile at least try to anyway. I checked my status against others near mine on the app and all but 8 of us have have been approved or have RFE. Praying for all of us!

Huh, that's strange because I've seen interviews that are 6 weeks from NOA2. I guess they got everything done the day after they got their case number?
