I was preparing to join the unlucky 200+ Day thread, but just reading some of the long wait times some of them have been waiting is utterly depressing. I'm at 191 today I'll don't think I'll join that thread probably just continue to hang here.

Sarge I really believe you will be approved before the end of November. I was told by two different USCIS employees Im approve d yesterday on two different calls. I can’t say I’ll get a text or email although I signed up for it. I do expect the hard copy NOA2 in the mail today or tomorrow god willing. I know it’s hard but they do know they have your case and I’m willing to bet there is a system to flag how many days they have it. Hang in there buddy

Good day everyone. How long did you wait to get your hardcopy of noa2 from the date of approval? My fiance (petitioner) didn't receive a text or email from uscis, i did. The email directed me to the new website saying that our petition has been approved. Thanks to anyone who answers :)

I've been reading days after approval.

Good morning everyone! I got a notification that there is an RFE on the way for us. Mixed feelings of course... joy that our petition has movement, frustration on another step to take and no way to electronically access the RFE (that I am aware of...have to wait on the postal mail).

Hopefully it is something really easy to answer/clarify.🤞

Same feeling here I also woke up with a RFE notification hoping for the best .. how much more time does this put on our cases?

On average 2 to 3 weeks after receiving an acceptable response from you.   Your mileage may vary.

YMMV

Two weeks to get to you and whatever time it takes you to reply and two weeks after receipt. Your mileage may vary.

Ok thank you ... I’m nervous and somewhat sad

Try not to worry about it to much. I know it's not what you were expecting but at least you know that they have taken action on it. I have no idea what's going on with mine and I'm 190 days in today. I pray that it's an easy fix and a quick turn around!

Curiosity kicks in. Apologize if someone have asked and you've explained this before.

How did you pull out the percentage? Were they based on VJ's member only or the entire May fillers in real life? Thank you in advance! 🙏🏼

It’s VJ responses only. Multiply IRL petitions by 100 or so. But VJ responses is at least enough of a sample size to garner an idea of where USCIS actually sits in terms of getting through the month of May.

That's just couples with timelines posted on VJ. Which is something like 5-10% of petitions, but that's all we've got much visibility of. And that's enough for a reasonably representative sample.

I just went to Timelines/Igor's list; searched for approved petitions, got the count for May, then searched for all petitions, got the count for May, then counted up the RFEs by hand.
