Name with one letter difference in translation

I want to ask if someone had this issue before. I want to petition for my parents and submit I-130, however, there is a small problem I am facing which is our last name is originally in Arabic and when they translated it to English in my dad's passport they used "I" as the last letter of his last name, where they used "Y" in my last name. Can I file the form with the our last names as shown in our passports and ask the translator to translate the birth certificate to match the passports? If I did so, will USCIS reject my application due to the one letter difference because of poor translation even though the Arabic version match?

Have everything match the official documents. You won’t be refused for a spelling difference in translation., that happens a lot and they understand it. The key issue is being able to show they actually are your parents, birth certificate will do that.
