Hi friends,

I just started this whole process and trying to learn everything. I am living with him in Amsterdam with a partnership visa over here but now trying to move back to the US to get married. Since we are both moving back I have no proof of income in the US for the last two years. I can set up my old job before we move back but I don't think that is enough. Can my parents or sister sponser him instead?

And how do their partners not go crazy sitting not having at job till they get married and apply for the green card?

Why not marry first and then get a spouse visa.  Green card on arrival.

Co-sponsors are allowed in most embassy/consulates

YMMV
