Administrative processing

Checking CEAC like a crazy person. Had my interview last Thursday in London and they hadn't received my medical exam info. He took my passport, said everything looked great, and said as soon as the medical came back it would be processed. So on Thursday my status changed to administrative processing. On Friday it changed to ready. And today (Tuesday) it had changed back to administrative processing. Can anyone calm my anxiety with a reason why?

It takes longer than normal because they have to pick up your case to work on it again. It could sit days before they have time. Had your medical been there Thursday, it would have moved on along from Thursday.  You got out of line so to speak and will have to get merged back in. No need for anxiety. Nothing is wrong. The status changes are not especially telling or consistent except for the one that says "issued".  Then expect delivery in about three days on average.
