he is jordanin . i am jordanin 2 and  i did my ir1 visa interview in may/2018 until now at AP with no updates. i did my interivew at Abu dhabi embassy.

Syrians are on the travel ban so we are treated differently. A lot of Syrians have been in AP for one year or longer. And I don't know if our interview would be different than Jordanians or not.

CR-1 My interview date is not set yet, NVC received my file 2 days ago, so I still need to submit the documents and pay the fees. I will update after the interview.

Hello!

How did the interview go? Are you in AP now? I am at NVC now and I am nervous about the interview (Amman also). Any info will be appreciated.

Yes we are on AP. my thoughts to you is try to submit everything correct to the NVC because one mistake will take two to three weeks.

Good luck

The interview went good, they did not let me the petitioner in with my husband I had to wait outside , I even told the security I am a citizen I need to go in with him they said no. so I waited. They gave my husband a paper about the waiver and we submitted it and now waiting.

First Thank you very much for your answer. I really appreciate it.

What kind of mistakes did you have with NVC? I am worried now.
And it's weird that they didn't let you in the embassy, I read reviews where the petitioner went in with their spouses. Maybe it's a new rule!

Good luck to you to.

For me going in with my husband I think its a new rule. For NVC mistakes such as make sure documents are correct and make sure u scan them clearly. And for what happened to us was I submitted the syrian birth certificate side ways like it is and they said no and they are not willing to turn their head or press a button to fix it . It took 3 weeks for them to see the new scan which I submitted minutes after they rejected it. Good luck
