Hi everybody!

I was wondering if there are others that are in my boat. I sent my AP application away last December and got my NOA 1 (receipt date of Dec 22) soon after..Since then, I have had a few touches online, but no word...I called in once the processing date online was 30 days past my receipt date, and supposedly an inquiry was started. I was told that I would receive mail from them specifying what the hold up was, but that has been almost 3 weeks and I am still waiting for that....Is this happening to anybody else???? I am starting to lose hope over here...Is there anything else that can be done??

I have wedding plans this June back home in Germany and invitations etc have already been sent out..I already have nightmares that my wedding is going to happen without me!!!!!

I e-filed on line for my wife thru the NBC. Effective date was 27 Feb. It was approved on 17 Mar.

My wife had to make an emergency trip to Spain (medical reasons) on 21 Mar.

She left without the actual document, but it was approved before she left, Im not anticipating problems.

I really think that e-filing really sppeds up any process where it is available.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Thank you all for your responses! This whole AP thing is so frustrating, it seems that a paper that is supposed to be done within 30-60 days should not be such an issue!

Claire and ktun, I hope that your wait won't be much longer. Keep us updated with your progress! Ktun, I hope your local office was able to help you. ;)
