Hello guys, I have a problem right now. So My husband is a U.S. Citizen and he is an active duty military. Right now he is stationed in Germany and he can't fly with me because he will be on mission and I would like to know if I can travel alone to USA? I read on the website that the sponsor needs to be in USA or needs to fly with me there. Does anyone knows more about it?

Yes, you cannot travel to the US if your sponsor isn't living in the US at the moment/ can't travel with you... Think, your visa is for family reunion - nothing to reunion if your husbands isn't in the US.

When is your husband's Germany tour over? Hopefully soon so your visa doesn't expire.

His tour finishes in September.

I believe your visa is valid for 6 months (but make sure!) So calculate if you have enough time to move with your husband in September.

6 months from the medical?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Ah right. So she might have even less time to immigrate.

Check what?

Can the embassy advise you?

Well, I will to try to talk to them and see what they tell me because at this point I don't know what to do! It is very complicated my situation (I think, at least)

I'm a little confused about this post, so you filed a CR-1, your timeline says your interview is in June, what immigrant visa do you hold right now? Don't you have to wait until after your interview and then receive your approved visa/green card? Your planning to visit the US before receiving your CR-1 approved visa?

I don't understand the issue..... If you don't have your interview until June, and your husband will be done in Germany in September, why can't you then go in September together?

I think I got really in panic and I forgot the fact the medical exams is valid for 5 months and half. The thing is he told me that they could deny buut it is 90% sure he will move back in September.
