Yep! Is there something about that which we didn't capture in this ongoing thread?

No just ignore me I was looking at the TV, VJ and listening to my wife telling me about something completely irrelevant and ended up replying to something else on this thread. Apologises.

London DCF Timeline

7th Sept 06: Married in Half Moon Bay, California

8th March 07: Sent I-130

15th March 07: Received NOA1 (via email)

1st May 07: Applied for Police Certificate

31st May 07: Received NOA2

8th June 07: Received Packet 3

8th June 07: Received Police Certificate

11th June 07: Returned Packet 3

27th June 07: Received Packet 4

2nd July 07: Medical in London

21st August 07: Interview at London Embassy (approved!!!)

22nd August 07: Text received by courier service to tell me the visa is on its way

23rd August 07: Visa & MBE (mysterious brown envelope) received

17th September 07: Flying to Boston, MA

20th August 09: Applied for removal of conditions (form I-751)

26th August 09: Received NOA and notification that my conditional residence status was extended for one year.

15th December 09: Received letter approving my removal of conditions.

31st December 09: Received new green card (IR-1)

16th December 10: Mailed N-400 to Texas Lockbox

24th January 11: Biometrics Testing in Boston

21st April 11: Naturalization Interview - Passed!!

16th June 11: Oath Ceremony in Boston

04/02/2007 - recieved at TSC

04/06/2007 - NOA1 issued

04/12/2007 - check cashed

04/14/2007 - NOA1 letter recieved

04/14/2007 - touched

06/07/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/08/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/10/2007 - touched (change of address)

06/15/2007 - touched due to phonecalls to csc.

06/16/2007 - another touch due to phonecalls on 15th!!!

07/25/2007 - APPROVED!!!!!!

08/06/2007 - NVC recieved

08/11/2007 - letter received from NVC saying send to London within a week

08/13/2007 - London recieves petition and sends out Packet 3

08/16/2007 - recieved and sent back packet 3

09/06/2007 - medical!!

09/12/2007 - INTERVIEW

09/18/2007 - Additional papers collected by courier

09/26/2007 - Visas delivered by courier!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

We got the Mysterious Brown Envelope back today, resealed. Neal is at work, so I made sure to put it away carefully, unopened. :D

Like other people said, it took 4 days to get it back from when we sent it (SMS picked it up Tuesday). Just for future reference to anyone out there--it was pretty quick and easy peasy!

Is it just me or has the list become really short compared to the huge number of May/June/July/August dates? We need to make a general plea to the UK VJ community to come here and give us their dates! I know I found all the support I got on this thread awesome, and it would be great to welcome more of us here.

Seconded ! however if there really is less traffic then I might get an early interview date !

But yes I would be even more insane by now if I had not been able to get advice and just plain comfort from VJ

Having filed TWO K1's and ONE Adjustment of status and then all this CR1 stuff starting January 9th which has been a nightmare from the start , I am totally pooped !

Come on November 5th and a 10 year unconditional green card !

and to any 'guests' who are browsing, come on board - this is one thing you CANNOT do on your own - VJ is not an optional bit of info if you are doing this visa thing.......

and to anyone who thinks an immigration attorney will do it - we were never in such a mess as when we got one of those involved - the guy was having a family crisis and forgot to mail our petition for weeks ! Then I ended up advising him what forms were needed and he said no and then we got an RFE for the thing I had told him was needed !

how come samwatts and cardiffian have interviews 1 day different and their p3's are a month and a half apart ! and blspicer was 3 months ! makes it difficult to estimate interview dates....
