Thanks! It's so exciting! I stayed after work yesterday, triple and quadruple checking the I-134 and assorted docs.

02/29/2008 - Wedding Day!

03/29/2008 - Mailed AOS packet to Chicago registered mail

04/04/2008 - Delivered to Chicago Lockbox

04-10-2008 - Check cashed!

04-12-2008 - NOA1s arrive for AP & AOS

04-18-2008 - Biometrics appt letter arrives

04-29-2008 - Biometrics appointment!

04-30-2008 - AOS status shows up online

05-16-2008 - AP status shows up online - both AP & AOS are touched!

06-05-2008 - AP touched and email sent saying AP has been approved

06-12-2008 - AP arrives in the mail

07-10-2008 - Interview letter arrives - interview scheduled for 09/05/08

09-05-2008 - Interview in SF (don't bring your cellphone!) -- approved! Email sent saying card has been ordered!

09-13-2008 - Welcome to the United States letter arrives

09-15-2008 - Green card arrives in the mail! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY

I called up the embassy help line today and came to know that they had put our checklist on the system on the 16th ... well things havent moved since then .... no interview date as yet ... seems they r taking a break after the great last week ... we r getting married on 22nd sept i hope it doesnt end up too close ,,,,,, :whistle:

Ahhhhhhh Tuesday! I'm a WEE bit stressed - not so much about the interview itself, but more about timing. What if we forgot some little silly form that holds things up? Our wedding is planned for August 11 - quite a large event. His whole family is flying over Aug 8. He's planning on hopping on a plane as soon as he gets the visa (we're hoping for Sunday Aug 5). Flexible airline ticket was the greatest idea ever. I'm rushing like mad on last minute wedding plans. Good luck to our fellow July 31st-ers!! Can't wait for Tuesday to be over with.

Dan & Tiffany, I wish you both the best of luck for your interview and wedding. Nothing will go wrong on the 31st, and come Aug 5, you will both be incredibly happy bunnies. Tuesday will be a breeze, but again, I can't wait for more wedding photos from 11 Aug. (When you both have time to come back here of course...... :whistle: )

I'm sure everything will run smoothe as silk!!! But I know how you feel, I'm going through the same motions, all the what ifs. I am so excited to see that APPROVAL by your names!!!

Barney had his medical today. He said everything went fine, except that his arms hurt from getting stuck with needles (1 in each arm for vaccines, and 1 for blood). Glad to have that out of the way. Now I can just stress out about the interview!!!

Hi ,

Could anyone tell me the 16 $ U.S enquiry number .... my finace called up on the following number which i got from the London website ---

1-866-382-3589 --- but they were not ready to accept any calls regarding the finacee visa ... :unsure:

Thanks guys! I'm trying to chill!! Glad to hear the medical went well, and perhaps Dan will see you guys there, psho!! He's leaving by train for London tomorrow night. No sleep for either of us tomorrow night!
